Description
The portable mass-flow Controller (MF-1000) has been developed to ensure the use of SF6 gas is accurately controlled and monitored. SF6 gas is an expensive commodity which can also have a major environmental impact when released into the atmosphere. Governments worldwide are introducing legislation, such as EC842/2006, to control the use of this gas and limit leaks from the equipment in which it’s used as an insulating medium. Therefore accurate measurement and control of SF6 usage, is essential.
The MF-1000 is a fully automatic portable mass-flow controller which can monitor and record how much gas is being used during both “fill” and “top-up” operations. The key features and accuracy of this instrument offer a major step forward in the handling of SF6 gas within the electricity market.
